We’re Erin and Kate, co-owners of YAH Sauna. As friends first, we actually can’t pin down a date or time we actually made this thing official; it more-so happened to us. That said ,what was crystal clear was that the relaxation, laughs, and mega-health benefits we routinely experience at Erin’s home sauna was a show that we needed to take on the road.

Enter, YAH! Short for You Are Here, YAH invites you to come home to yourself and your chosen company and experience the multifaceted benefits of a regular sauna practice. Erin hand-builds all of our saunas with remarkable attention to design, integrating the natural world around us into the sauna experience. All those shadows you see dancing across the plaster walls? 100% Erin.

Kate comes from a formal art background, and was immediately drawn to the ritual and beauty of what Erin created at her home sauna. Immediately recognizing not only what sauna can do for you physically, but what the true vulnerability and joy of a social sauna could offer mentally…well, she was sold.

Together, we are so proud and honored to share YAH with the larger Durham community and we can’t wait to catch the heat with you soon.
